Porlock
Spot:Porlock
Access:Porlock is on the A39. Drive through the town and Porlock Weir is signed on the right. Follow the lane and there is a large car park right by the beach. The best area is if you walk around the harbour and over the footbridge and then fish anywhere between the cottages and the point to the left. The beach is made up of mixed pebbles and rocks and is easiest to fish over low tide but good casters can fish any state of the tide. As with Bossington night fishing is often best.
Tides:Fishes on both springs and neaps.
Species:As for Bossington but possibly even more dogfish!
