It all Norwegian but':
1. To zoom in, simply drag the mouse over the map while holding the left mouse button, and a square will form. Let go of the left mouse button, and the map will be zoomed in to the area of the box you made.
2. To see a depth chart of the area you chose, you click “Kart” on the left hand side of the map. Then click “dybdedata”, and a depth chart will automatically appear, with more detail the more you zoom in.
3. If you want satellite imagery of the area you have zoomed into, as above, but choose “Norge i bilder”.
4. If you want to zoom out, choose the “-” hourglass from the icon menu in the map.

But I have been testing another map and chart service lately, that is a lot better and has the information you want.
This one is from the Norwegian Coastal Administration (Kystverket) and is the national agency for coastal management, maritime safety and -communication in Norway.
The only problem is that sometimes it just stops working. And you have to start again whatever you where doing. But the info you get from it is much better so I recomend using it.

In the lower left corner of the map you find WGS84 UTM zone 33 X / Y coordinates as well as WGS84 geografic Lat / Lon (DMM):
You can zoom into the map by using the scroll button on your mouse while hovering the mouse cursor over the area you want to zoom into.
To choose maps, you click on "Grunnkart" in the left side menu. So to choose depth charts you first click on "Grunnkart" - then "Dybdedata (WMS)" from the menu that appears.
But if you from "Grunnkart" instead choose "Sjøkart (GC) you get what is the equivalent of British admiralty charts, with navigational information and everything that belongs on a proper sea chart.

There is only one word can describe this fantastic fishing spot - amazing - even that is understatement. German journalist and well known fishermen Volker Dapoz fished here for just one day and got 50 cod over 20 pound!! Besides of that he got around 50 wolf-fish , numerous large coal fishes and lost a massive halibut after 3.5 hours fight - he already saw him on the surface. Many customers asked us in the past to get a destination here at Arviksand - so now the time is right to present Visit Arviksand. In 2011 we will start with a cosy house which offers plenty space for up to 8 people and 2 x 21 feet 6 Merry Fisher Marlin boats with 90 hp Honda engines perfect for exploring this area. If you are looking for a spot to catch halibut you will found him here at Visit Arviksand.
The following areas are well known for fantastic fishing:
1.) The "Årvikbukta" directly in front of the harbor. Even in strong wind you can still fish here in good conditions. This area is known for nice flatfish as plaice and haddock. In spring it is worth to fish for wolf-fish in depths around 25 metres.
2) Approximately 2 km off the coast are some interesting plateaus: if you are looking forward to catch large cod (probably you do ) it is only 5 min. boat ride until "Håbakken", the first catchy plateau. A little further drive west of it is a hotspots calls "Kjellsundgrunnen " and " Steinskallen. and After around 15 minutes you reach the plateau "Juksen" which is known asa superb spot for redfish. Normally on the south side of the plateau "Juksen" you will get in contact with nice redfish, local fishermen have told us, however, that often very large redfish on the north side are captured.Try to fish here in different depths with long rigs and bait from small coalies - and if you get one you will get more fishes.
3) The area north and north-east of Fugløy is known since many years. The fantastic fishing for large cod and large coalies in Fugløy is almost impossible to beat. This area is almost covered with sand and rock plateaus allover. At the edges of the numerous plateaus you will find small baitfish allover - so the big predators are not far away. The area "Bruseklakken" and "Skallbakken" are just two of many where we can almost promise big fishes.
So as you see there are lots of places to catch the fish of your lifetime at Visit Arviksand. Good House, good boats and fantastic fishing are almost guaranteed.
