REEL SERVICING
Servicing costs are as follows: (Per Reel)
• £15, e.g. GTI, GS, Senator, International Baitcaster and Fixed Spool + Parts + Return Postage
• International Class reel, Big Game £25 + Parts + Return postage
• 2 Speed reels, £25 + Parts + Return postage
• Repair only not a full service (TBC)
What happens when a reel is serviced?
Servicing a fishing reel is a long and time consuming process, each reel can take up to 3 hours work by a reel technician, in this time he will fully strip each and every single part of the reel, remove the bearings, put the bearings in the sonic wave tank to remove all grease and lube, clean all other parts with a special cleaning solution in the parts washer, pressure wash all parts with fresh water and put all parts in the parts drier. The bearings are put in a lubricant and again, put through the sonic wave tank, this allows the lube to work its way back into them. The technician will assemble and re-grease the reel and repair if necessary. Finally the reel will be spray protected with our rod & reel cleaning & protecting solution. All grease and oil is X-1R, space-age technology approved by NASA.
Breakdown
• Reel fully stripped
• Bearings put in sonic wave tank to remove grease and oil
• All parts cleaned in parts washer
• All parts pressure washed with fresh water
• All parts put in parts drier
• Bearings then re lubed in sonic wave tank
• Reel assembled, re-greased and repaired if necessary

If you require parts this will be added to the final cost.
